I'll see if I can't dig out a few old cruise books and add a few pic's to the board,I was in VAH-5 From 1962-1966 And then in RVAH-1 1967-1969 then went to NAS Norfolk 1969-1973 Then to RVAH-7 1973-1976 then Back to B-School And then Miss1976-1978 Then to the Midway 1978-1980 Then to VA-94 Lemoore Calif.1981-1982 And then retired.The Woody

Just saw the name willis heffren mentioned. I worked with him in heavy-14 ame shop when he came to the squadron. The last time I saw him was in Malta in December 70. Thats when I left the squadron. I'm a plank owner in Heavy-14. dale butler ame-2

I was with Heavy 6 from 1974-1976...being stationed in your home town was not that great....BUT if it had not been for the people in the HEAVY community I would not have had a career in the Navy..They turned me around and I flew straight....Loved the squadron, and today I still love the Vigi.....
