Thanks [again] for the welcome aboard. I signed on before but had password problems.

A lot of credit to all who sustain the site.

Hi Stick:

I am pleased to hear about the RVAH reunion.  I have lived in Altamonte Springs for many years and didn't know that my old shipmates were organized.

I was an ADJ-2 in RVAH-1 and I was aboard the USS Independence (CVA 62) for the 1P963-1964 Med cruise with the A5C Vigilantes.  I was also on the 1964-1965 WestPac cruise with the RA5C Vigilantes.  I enjoyed my time in the Navy and after I was discharged I went to college on the GI Bill.  I am now enrolled at the VA center in Winter Park and it is good to see some old salts there.

Hello Stick.  I am glad to have found this site, had been looking for some way to make contact with an important part of my life.  I was a part of Heavy 13 1970-1971 {at NAS Albany, GA, of course).  Did a Med cruise aboard the Forrestal January-August 1970.  Thanks for making this contact possible.  By the way, I was AE3.

Glad to come aboard. Was just surfing the web when I found the site. It is great, found several of my shipmates with us. Unfortunately found some that have passed away. Keep up the good work.

Hi Stick, I do have a question. I see some reference to a "Gift" now and then. What is that about? Thanks again for your kindness.

Hi Stick, thanks for the offer of help, and I shall ask if I hit a wall concerning this web site. It sure was an adventure, and only those who served will ever really understand. John

Thanx Stick, as we all say, those where some of the best years of our lives.  We where young, dumb, and indestructable.  Look forward to more photos and comments from the old RVAH-5, Savage Sons.  64-66....................
