Not M.I.A.

Haven't been around much lately. Going in for my 3rd back surgery in the last 2 months. This time they are going to do a Spinal Cord Stimulator Implant. Hopefully this will give me some pain relief. In case any one is wondering I am not going thru VA. I know, some of you praise VA for what the've done for you, but I've had better care thru Medicare and my suppimental policy then I've every had at Dallas VA. CBS ran an article on it'e 10 PM news tonight. Hope a lot of you got to see the…

Wondering if there are any old friends out there.

Just joined. I will try to update profile and add some pics later.

I haven't kept up with many Navy friends maybe there are still a few around. I have seen a couple of familiar names that I will contact later.

I am planning to go to the RVAH reunion at Sanford, Florida this June if I can get that information. If you know anything please pass along.

January 9, 1967 - Reporting for Duty

Hi Steve,

I missed ya' by a couple of months. I and a couple other PT film interpreter guys reported into Sanford, Florida, straight from holiday leave and just out of the latest Air Force hosted, Denver Intelligence School, ready for several weeks training on the recon film computers. We arrived at about 4 pm on January 9, 1967. The squadron headquarters building that we were directed to were all but deserted. In one of the offices I found a cleanup detail. PT 1st Class George Kisner…

Sorry About the Title :)

Hello to all!

Stick was nice enough to let me know we all operate on first name basis, soooo, I could omit the "Mr." title. Thanks Stick!

I only used that because I thought it was asking for my full name to sign in. I much prefer just being called John. I sure am glad I could edit that! :)

Sincerely,

John

RVAH-12 Fellowship

It was great to find this site! Being in RVAH-12 was the best time of my life. Especially when we went WestPac off Viet Nam. I was blessed to be with so many fellow Photographers keeping the RA5C Vigilante stocked with film. Really felt like we were doing something worthwhile. Though the war was lost, due to politics, we won the battles.

Naval Aviation Culture, Is it dead?

John Lehman was an A-6 B/N and Secretary of the Navy under Ronald Reagan.  I think he has it right.

Comrad Obama

I found this at the web site American Thinker.  I think it explains the motives of Prez O.  I met one of the authors menntioned, Jack Cashill and I recommend his book, Deconstructing  Obama.
