You've got a good memory. If you're referring to the 1965 Buick Riviera GS that I bought in 1972 just out of A-School, I hung on to it for awhile. It was a real rust bucket and I decided to part it out. I made more money on it that way than what I paid for it. I think I got $550.00 for just the engine alone. But this car really never saw much road action after I bought it and it stayed at my folk's place in Pa. The car I drove regularly while I was in service was my blue 1972 Buick Skylark, aka GSX. I finally traded it in for a compact Dodge in 1980 when the gas crunch hit. Sure wish I'd hung onto it. As for Roger Bennett's 1971 Dodge Magnum GTX, I believe he still had it when he re-enlisted in 1976 and took it with him to his new duty station in Pensacola. He didn't have it though when I visited him and Al Lane down there in 1978 when I was on college break. Those were the good old days, when cars were mean, men were men, and women were afraid. Ha! Ha!
