My father, Capt. Dean E. Webster, who now is 86 & has Alzheimer's, was a Vigi pilot in RVAH3 & RVAH13, & was Wing Commander of the RVAH squadrons while at NAS Albany GA. He was the CO of NAS Albany when the base was decomissioned & retired.

BOB WILL BE 59 THIS YEAR AND HE WENT TO DOUGHERTY HIGH SCHOOL AND PLAYED IN THE BAND.I AM VERY MUCH AWEAR OF WHAT YOUR FAMILY IS GOING THOURGH WITH YOUR DAD BECAUSE MY DAD HAD IT FOR THE LAST SIX YEARS OF HIS LIFE. GOD BLESS!
Welcome. I was in both H-3 and H-13 in the late 1960's, but never met your father. I do want to welcome you here. I was enlisted, but still get a thrill looking back at my time working with such a high performance plane. Flying one had to be a challenge, but a real kick.
My Mother-in-Law had Alzheimers and we took care of her as long as we could. It is tough on the family and none of us will ever have any idea how the affected person might actually feel. I wish your father, yourself and your family the best.
