  1. Yes, I came into squadron from book camp as a PN striker.  Ended up spending 24 yrs active duty transferring to fleet reserve as a PNCS.  Spent my last 17 years as USNR-TAR.  Enjoyed my career and all the friends I made.

Hello John, you and I were on the same Med cruise. I took Mosely's slot as Maintenance Chief, for health reasons he did not make the cruise. Jim Beasley and I pulled a lot of liberty together, consuming our share of spirits.  Warrant Officer Fox was the Maintainnence Control Officer. He retired as Commander and now lives in MS.

Welcome aboard John. I see you where with the squadron for the '68 WestPac on Enterprise and the '69 Med on Sara. I missed that one but made the Carrier Quals prior to being transfered to Twelve.

I joined RVAH-1 in December of 1967 and stayed in this Squadron until December of 1970 when I was sent back to Treasure Island for my separation in January of 1971. Looking back I have a lot of memories of my time in the Navy.

What years were you with the squadron?

Badges? We don't need no stinking badges.

Everyone may have noticed that your web browser was forcing you to turn on Flash to see your badge. Adobe is doing away with Flash in a couple months so the Badges function will stop working completely then so we've removed that  feature from the main page.
