Ok picture man, do you happen to remember Lt. Nick J. Mergo? He has passed away and the family is putting together a Agent Orange claim and needs any help some of us may have. Please search your brain (what you have left) and let us know of anything. Lt. Mergo help in a search/locate mission for one of our downed airplanes and diverted to vietnam and of course there isn't any proof (record) but maybe someone can/does remember. Let me know, thanks and I hope you are doing well. Oh I have beeen meaning to ask Are you any relation to the Shimkus girl on Fox news?
Hi Al, my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. I received an email from you but it said no return. I did leave the information about the officers as I remembered it. You know me as Pete, not Harvey. My picture is in the cruise book for our squadron pictures on the very next group after the officers pictures. I'm between W.R. Hogan and Edward Elrod whose name is omitted, next person listed is P. O'Brien. I was an AE and in heavy 5 since 1963 to 1966. I also took the cruise on the America.
Al; Since my company went out of business due to a lack of work and a lousy economy, I had to get a real job which meant a 40% cut in pay and back to two weeks of vacation, I was justy able to find the time of the funds to make the trip. Maybe next year. Bob
Hi Al Had a very busy summer on grass cutting jobs along with helping the 5 year old Grandson who with his Mom are living with us. So as it turned out no time for much travel and no vacations at all this year. Heard rumors that I would have plenty of time to prowl and fish when I retired. Has not happened herer at this house hold yet. I believe we are busier now then when the clock was being punched. Got a 4 hour grass cutting job to do today so guess I better gas up the machines and head down the road. Again good hearing from you Al Russ
