This is another photo from the RVAH-9 awards ceremony in Albany in early 1972 after the 1971 Rota, Spain deployment.  AEC Andrew Hatten is the tall individual in the middle.  Chief Hatten was the lead Chief on getting the MMF established there in Rota in 1971.

Mr. Fleet the MMF group officer had already received his award an is not in this picture.  Once you received your award from the Admiral, you would take a step back.

The Chief to the right of Chief Hatten was AQC Dusty Rhoads who was on the detachment that was on the Saratoga in 1971.

I do not know the names of the other Chiefs to the left of Chief Hatten.  They were part of the 1971 deployment.

The rest of the squadron personnel was behind us.

Badges? We don't need no stinking badges.

Everyone may have noticed that your web browser was forcing you to turn on Flash to see your badge. Adobe is doing away with Flash in a couple months so the Badges function will stop working completely then so we've removed that  feature from the main page.
