For those who served in the RVAH Community, their families, and friends!

This is an excellent book by a former RVAH 13 pilot who was shot down over North Vietnam in 1966 and survived to come home in 1973.

His BN Ltjg Robert Hanson was killed on that day in 1966 and is listed in the Devotion to Duty section.

I met the Captain at a conference in Hawaii where he was speaking in the mid 80s.

The Captain's book is still available in paperback at Amazon, etc.  It is still an excellent read after all these years.

I was on that WESTPAC cruise when he was shot down.  He was a very well liked officer.  We were all in shock that day.

I have a CD of Captain Coffee speaking at that conference & it is outstanding along with his book.
