The 2019 reunion of the Smokin' Tigers is drawing near. We are holding a 40th year reunion of the decommissioning of RVAH-1 back in Key West. We are all going to start gathering in Key West on May 1st and 2nd with a picnic on the Truman Annex on Saturday May 4th behind the old EM club on the covered patio.
If you retired from the military and were in the squadron at anytime come and join us, just be sure to bring your military ID. If you were a member of the squadron at anytime and don’t have a military ID and would like to join us please contact me as soon as possible because for you to get base access the Navy will have to do a background check before you will be allowed on the base. We have set a April 15th cut off date for this due to having to get the info to the NAVY in time for them to do the check.
If you can’t make it and want to see who all came and some of the things we did be sure to check out the RVAH-1 Smokin’ Tigers Facebook page.
Key West bound one more time!

I received this message tonight and thought I would pass it along for those of you who know George Breeze.

Hello, my name is Betty......I am George Breeze's sister. I am sending this letter out to all of you who have known my brother either through the military, business, or just friendship. George and Linda are experiencing a difficult time right now and could use some help.
.
Their daughter, Heather, has set up a GoFundMe account in an effort to alleviate part of their troubles. Following is a copy of the post that Heather placed on FaceBook:
.
Friends & Family; as most of you know my Mom (Linda Breeze), had a liver transplant late last summer. It's been a rough road to recovery for her. Countless anti-rejection medications, Multiple trips per week to St Louis for follow-ups, endless lab visits and a few week-long stays in the hospital due to side effects of medication and so forth. Due to severe weight loss (down to 115lbs since August of 2017) She is currently on on a feeding tube at home.
.
I am asking you all for help today. As the medical bills continue to mount and the doctor appointments in St Louis are never ending.....paying the bills on time & in full is quickly starting to become a burden for them.
.
My parents have always given so much to the community throughout their lives. I would love to do whatever I can to help ease some of their burdens. I have set up a GoFundMe Page for them today https://www.gofundme.com/lindajbreeze If you can help and but would prefer to send money directly to George, his address is:
*George Breeze 2045 E Pullman Road Scheller IL 62883
.
On behalf of my family; Thank you all for your continued thoughts, prayers and support!

Ron Murphy asked: "
Does anyone have a good color photo of a heavy 1 AC in flight? I had a beautiful one but it has faded after 40+ years. I am getting a mural graphic made for the rear window of my SUV,"

Question: What is the minimum resolution that you need? I found this photo on the internet but I don't know if it meets the minimum resolution requirement:
