For those who served in the RVAH Community, their families, and friends!

Mike Dunlap,

That is a poem (Newsletter Feb 2016) that I will carry in my pocket to the nursing home and beyond. It is a marvelous poem that brought me right back to the flight deck on the Ranger reading every detail as my minds eyes and heart felt every shin motion kissing a tie-down chain and every sting of nostrils and heat of afterburner on face and neck. The only part of the poem that incorrect to me was the Kitty Hawk was the Ranger and the Squadron was RVAH-9 in 1965 and 1966, and I personally lovingly named your BANCHEE... RODAN.

What a wonderful poem, Mike Dunlap. I'm indebted to you Shipmate.
