PH-3 James Terry "JT" Marlin, passed away Friday, 7/22/2016 at his home in Chattanooga, TN.  Petty Officer Marlin was attached to the Photo Shop of RVAH-6 1973-1976 and made two cruises (1974 Med Cruise aboard USS Forrestal and 1975 WESTPAC Cruise aboard USS Kitty Hawk).  After discharge from active duty JT attended Tennessee Temple Bible College for one year then changed course and entered law enforcement.  He retired with 25 years service from the Chattanooga Police Department in 2006.  He continued his education and received his Masters Degree in Criminal Law.  JT was married in 1982 to Linda Kay Dudley who survives.  He was buried on 7/26/2016 in the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
