RVAHNAVY'S RecceNet

For those who served in the RVAH Community, their families, and friends!

It's a sad day in Naval Aviation History as the historic " BLUE ANGELS " announced they will cancel all remaining air shows for the year, which can only lead  I'm sure to the demise of such a fabled group of Naval Aviators and maintenance Airmen. I just cannot believed this is happening but sad to say it is true. I know for us in aviation it is like losing a very dear friend.

it truly is sad. unfortunately, I believe this is only the tip of the iceberg.

DARN , pretty soon we'll have  ARM FORCES with a handful of bullets , bombs , fuel, etc !  But illegals get everything they ask for !!!  The Blue Angels be missed !!!

DAMMIT....DAMMIT......DAMMIT...Yeah Dave I think your right....DAMMIT

Of course there was plenty of $$$$ to hold that hootnannie at the white house and send Air Force 1 for those parents from Sandy Hook so Oblamma could parade them around like wind up dolls to try  and get the legislation he wants to infringe on the rights of US citizens.

wasn't there a guy lots of years ago that did the same thing? Germany if my memory is correct.

You are vert correct.

"I'm so sorry to hear that the Navy Blue Angels and the Airforce Thunderbirds have been forced to cancel their performances this year. These two amazing groups have provided inspiration for millions over the years and have served as a terrific recruiting tool for all branches of the armed services. At least they're still boogying in the White House."

One of the advantages of being "old" is that I won't have to live in the world that we're creating. I just recently read an article about an ad for Mickey D's - it shows a lady with her head in her hands obviously upset and the copy reads. "You're not alone...Millions of people love the Big Mac" - McDonalds pulled the ad because people complained.

“There are a lot of people who are struggling with their mental and emotional health. They may be highly stressed out, depressed, or even suicidal,” he wrote.  “The ad writers and executives in McDonald’s high-priced marketing operation missed the boat badly on this one. I’m sorry, but the ad is just too close to the real thing to be funny.”

Really?? Are we at a point now where we can't show anything but happy, well adjusted people in the media anymore?

I'm not sure that I want to live in a world with no sense of humor, no appreciation for the people that make a difference and no Blue Angels.

Jeez...
