Event Description

The Castle Air Museum in Atwater, CA. is recovering and will be performing restoration work on an RA-5C Vigilante from a California desert location. Aircraft 156615 was based on USS Ranger in 1979, and made the last ever trap aboard Ranger in August 1979. The museum is seeking donations to help defray the cost of transport and restoration of this rare and magnificent aircraft. If anyone is interested in donating to this project please contact the museum at (209) 723-2178, or you can mail your donations to Castle Air Museum 5050 Santa Fe Drive. Atwater, CA. 95301. Please make sure that you put RA-5 Vigilante on your check. Please visit the museum website at: www.castleairmuseum.org and click on the future projects button to view some pictures of this aircraft prior to the aircraft being dismantled for transport to the museum.

Badges? We don't need no stinking badges.

Everyone may have noticed that your web browser was forcing you to turn on Flash to see your badge. Adobe is doing away with Flash in a couple months so the Badges function will stop working completely then so we've removed that  feature from the main page.
